Kaizen, to me, is taking the time to constantly go over your design making whatever changes to make it as complete as possible. The theme it relates closely to is “Continuous Redesign”
Our group decided to focus on the restaurant issue at Disney. Before kaizen we wanted to somehow incorporate dancing or some sort of physical activity while waiting for food. The kids would have a chance a burn some energy while the parents could burn some calories.
We have not fully solidified this idea, but after applying kaizen we have realized that dancing may not be the best form of entertainment for everyone for various reasons. So we are working on focusing more on the target market and also including a rewards system of some kind.
