Andy Mccolgin - Blog 9
It is important to maintain uniformity and consistency when creating something. This develops "ease of learning". One great example of this is the board game trivial pursuit. It is not a complicated game in and of itself, and there are many different versions of the game. However, between different versions of the game, the cards are all the same basic design and the boards have the same shape. The only thing that changes between styles of games are the pictures on the boards and the questions themselves. This makes the entire challenge just about answering the question and not figuring out the game.
