Uniformity and consistency contribute largely to a website's "ease of learning" for a new user. If the primary purpose for a webpage was hard to determine or shifted around each time the site was visited, users would not find the site beneficial or easy to use. Dictionary.com is a website that demonstrates a consistent layout that is simple to use and catch on to. A search box is at the top of every page along with four other tabs to useful sites associated with word searching (ex. thesaurus, encyclopedia, translator, web). All of the pages are linked together and are consistent with their own color scheme which surrounds the search box atop each page. This uniformity and consistency makes it easy for a new user to navigate the webpage and makes it clear what they are searching for.
