Chapter 7 speaks to the theme "provide for ease of learning" through multiple concepts, but the one I quickly noticed was the topic Be Consistent Across Applications. When using an application, half the time may be spent on just trying to search for some type of option that is located in one of the file or option menus. An example of something that avoids this through being consistent across applications is Mac. While on a mac, most if not all, applications are going to have a very similar set up, with similar options on the top menu bar that is always detached from the application itself. This allows for the user to easily point out important features of an application on first use.
