Technique: Contextual inquiry

A good way to sample how easy the website Ars Technica is to use would be to use contextual inquiry. Using this would make it easy to good feel on how a typical user is able to navigate the website. A good way would be to watch what a user does when he reaches Ars Technica. What does he or she notice first? Is he or she able to successfully click on it? When the user clicks on it does it do what he or she intended for it to do?

With these questions and method it will make it very apparent what is and what is not working. It also will help Ars Technica focus on what its users are most viewing and what is achieving little popularity.
